As a general rule, preptv does not post the last name of elementary students while identifying their participation in a school activity or promoting their accomplishment in Knowledge, Character,
and Leadership.  Likewise preptv does not include any reference to a student in a posted jpeg or mpeg image file name.  These precautions should eliminate parental concerns about a child being
identified as the result of an Internet search.  However, in the event that a parent is uncomfortable with a posted text or image, preptv will remove the text or image upon notification.

Coffee House draws Big Crowd for Great Cause
The Prep Arts Department hosted
its 3rd annual Coffee House Night;
an event that gives North Pointe
students a chance to showcase a
wide variety of talents developed
both in and out of the classroom.

Students displayed their talents in
the areas of improvisation, dramatic
readings, singing, instrumental
solos, artwork, skits, and
monologues.

Among the highlights were a
marimba solo by Stephen Hutson, a
cello performance by Elle
Ballard-Meine, and a vocal and
piano performance by Matteo
Vaiente. There were both amusing
and serious skits, including a show
spread their artistic wings, and for
guests to enjoy coffee and snacks
in the Prep Café, the event also
provided much needed funds for
Broadway Cares/Equity Fights
AIDS, a charitable organization
providing care and research for
AIDS victims across the nation.

A record crowd turned-out for the
third edition of this annual event,
and $328 in donations were
collected throughout the evening.

Prep theatre instructor Stephanie
Stone was thrilled with the turn-out.
“It’s great to see so many people
interested in seeing the wide
variety of talents our kids have and
to support this important cause.”
-stealing performance by Dan
Cove, and an art display featuring
works created by both junior high
and high school students involved
in traditional and electronic arts
classes.
