As a general rule, preptv does not post the last name of elementary students while identifying their participation in a school activity or promoting their accomplishment in Knowledge, Character,
and Leadership.  Likewise preptv does not include any reference to a student in a posted jpeg or mpeg image file name.  These precautions should eliminate parental concerns about a child being
identified as the result of an Internet search.  However, in the event that a parent is uncomfortable with a posted text or image, preptv will remove the text or image upon notification.

Prep physics students joined thousands of
their peers at the annual Physics Day at Six
Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA.
Physics Day allows students to take their
knowledge of the laws governing motion,
energy, and forces and apply them to
understanding ride design, with an emphasis
on roller coasters.

After an all night chartered bus trip,
Students arrived at the park in time for the
official opening, and stayed the full day until
the park closed. Throughout the day they
gather
ed and analyzed data form various
attractions.

Some of the most popular rides were the
flying inverted loops on Tatsu, as well as the
gargantuan 255 foot drop featured on
Goliath.  The less thrill-seeking students
found their own niche too with some of the
milder rides such as Scrambler and the
Buccanneer, and a fun time was had by all.

"Physics Day allows students to take their
knowledge of physics and see it brought to
life in a real-world situation," said Nick
Leonardi,
the Prep's  Physics Teacher.
"The trip is one of the highlights of the year
and I look forward to more students being
able to experience the excitement of applied
physics in future years!"
