Privacy Policy
As a general rule, preptv does not post the last name of elementary students while identifying their participation in a school activity or promoting their accomplishment in Knowledge, Character,
and Leadership.  Likewise preptv does not include any reference to a student in a posted jpeg or mpeg image file name.  These precautions should eliminate parental concerns about a child being
identified as the result of an Internet search.  However, in the event that a parent is uncomfortable with a posted text or image, preptv will remove the text or image upon notification.

Prep's Holiday Sharing Program is Huge Success
North Pointe's recent Prep Cares project focused on caring for those in the community who are less fortunate. The
Holiday Sharing Program ran during December and provided students with three different opportunities to share
with others.

Bring in Food:  Students brought in over 3,000 items (or over 4 cans per student) in canned food and other
non-perishable items far exceeding the goal of 1500 cans.  The collected supplies went to the St. Mary's/Westside
Food Bank Alliance for distribution to those in need.

Create and Stuff Stockings:  Prep students packed the Prep Cafe to design Christmas stockings for the Pappas
School's Tumbleweed program for homeless high school students.  Our partners at
Target (43rd Avenue/Peoria)
took the stockings and stuffed them with lots of great gifts.

Help distribute food to those in need:  North Pointe students assisted Westside Food Bank in packaging
holiday food boxes for needy families.  The Prep took a bigger group than expected and the students worked so
productively that they actually ran out of food to box

To celebrate the huge success of the Holiday Sharing Program, North Pointe's Prep Band performed a Christmas
concert before school while students enjoyed free hot chocolate and donuts

While promoting the program live on a preptv broadcast (channel 75 throughout the campus), Mr. Ward accepted a
spontaneous challenge to shave his head if 1500 cans were donated.  Stacey Canning from Relaxation Roost (8279
W. Lake Pleasant Pkwy #106, Peoria, 623.572.8777) helped him fulfill his promise live on
preptv for the entire
student body to enjoy
