For the second week in a row, preptv.org
shattered previous single day and week long
activity records. The Prep's popular website
experienced 20,324 hits the week following
Spirit Week (9/23-29).

Thursday's 4,205 hits was the website's most
activity for a single day. September's total hits
of 60,863 is also a single month record.

Since the week of August 12, 2007, when
preptv.org went over the 10,000 hit mark, the
website has averaged approximately 12,000
hits per week.

"We knew the posting of hundreds of Spirit
Week and Homecoming Weekend images
would create a lot of activity," said preptv's
general manager Richard Gow. "But 20,000
hits? That's amazing."

Privacy Policy
As a general rule, preptv does not post the last name of elementary students while identifying their participation in a school activity or promoting their accomplishment in Knowledge, Character,
and Leadership. Likewise preptv does not include any reference to a student in a posted jpeg or mpeg image file name. These precautions should eliminate parental concerns about a child being
identified as the result of an Internet search. However, in the event that a parent is uncomfortable with a posted text or image, preptv will remove the text or image upon notification.
