preptv online tops 25,000 with Spring Fling coverage
Rock Lobster '08's "Where's Rocky?" contest
shattered preptv.org's single day record with
the Prep's popular website receiving 7,904 hits.

The Spring Fling Rock Lobster logo was hidden
on Wednesday, April 23rd, inside one of the
hundreds of photos posted on the Rock
Lobster '08 pages.  Senior Heather Ellis was
the first person to email her finding and
received a Rock Lobster '08 Trophy and $100.

In addition to breaking the single day record,
Rock Lobster '08's coverage (4/20-26) also
broke week long (25,718) and monthly (64,190
for April) activity records.

The previous single day (4,205), weekly
(20,324), and monthly (60,863) records came
during preptv.org's coverage of North Pointe's
Spirit Week this past Fall (9/23-29).

Since the week of August 12, 2007, when
preptv.org went over the 10,000 weekly hit
mark, the website has averaged approximately
12,000 hits per week.
Privacy Policy
As a general rule, preptv does not post the last name of elementary students while identifying their participation in a school activity or promoting their accomplishment in Knowledge, Character,
and Leadership.  Likewise preptv does not include any reference to a student in a posted jpeg or mpeg image file name.  These precautions should eliminate parental concerns about a child being
identified as the result of an Internet search.  However, in the event that a parent is uncomfortable with a posted text or image, preptv will remove the text or image upon notification.
