Beginners and advanced perform
The Winter Arts Festival Piano
Recital featured a wide variety of
songs and performance levels.
Sarah Woodwick only began
playing in August of this year but
played a beautiful “O Holy Night.”
One of the more advanced
students, Gabrielle Goshow, who
has been playing for almost two
years, played a piece from the
movie Pride and Prejudice.
Another show stopper was a duet
performed by Anna Morgan and
Nicole Rock. It is not easy to play
two parts on one piano but they
did it very well and also performed
at the Prep Assembly.
Jeanette Winzeler
Jeanette Winzeler is in
her second year at the
Prep. She also directs
North Pointe's Choirs.
All of the students did a wonderful job
and worked very hard to play their
pieces for a large audience.
Valerie Schlanger
Valerie Schlanger is in
her first year at the Prep.
In addition to her piano
classes she also teaches
guitar at the Prep.
"I teach because I enjoy positively
affecting people. I believe that teachers
have tremendous influence on the lives
of their students.
