Festival features Musical Review
The Musical Theatre class
opened their Winter Arts Festival
review with ‘One’ from A Chorus
Line. The dance was
choreographed by Alexis Green.
Alexis also performed ‘Nothing’
from the same musical.
Chris Dalpe and Madi Winger
brought the house down with their
ultra-silly rendition of ‘The Song
that Goes Like This’ from Monty
Python’s musical spoof Spamalot.
Brea Hendrix performed the
Avenue Q hit ‘Fine Fine Line’ with
a depth that is beyond most
seventeen year olds.
Karen Ratliff was believable as
the wistful Elphaba from Wicked
singing ‘The Wizard and I’.
Brettoni Nielson-Foshee was the
soulful Mary Magdalene from
Jesus Christ Superstar singing ‘I
Don’t Know how to Love Him’.
Kay Gray
Kay Gray is in her fourth
year at the Prep. In
addition to theatre classes
she directs North Pointe's
Theatre Groups who
perform four plays and
Samantha Bravo belted out a lovely
‘Vanilla Ice Cream’ from She Loves Me.
She also performed the title song from
Phantom of the Opera with Michael
Denham.
Brettoni Nielson-Foshee and Tim Barker
fought with one another through Annie
Get Your Gun’s ‘Anything You Can Do’
as Annie Oakley and Frank.
one musical each school year.
"I teach because helping young people
discover their hidden creativity is so
fulfilling and exciting. The thrill that a
student feels when they succeed is an
incredible thing to witness."
