Falcon Players
Taming of
North Pointe's High School Falcon Players presentation of the Shakespeare classic, The Taming of the Shrew, attracted
huge crowds on Thursday and Friday and a sold out dinner theatre on Saturday. Melody Chrispen put in a stellar
performance as the Narrator, with original narration which she wrote. “Melody is ultra talented and her narration was just
what was needed to keep the audience up to speed with the story.” said Kay Gray, Director of the show. “ I asked Melody
to be the Narrator because of her abilities after seeing some of her speech pieces (as a member of the Prep;'s Speech
Team).” James Teeples wowed the audience with his intense portrayal of Petruchio, the tough guy version of a shrew. Kim
See was wonderful as Kate the Curst, and along with James, she lead this amazing cast to thrill the audience with laughs
and love. Frankie Marchi and Celeste Ulloa were charming as Lucentio and Bianca, two young lovers. Guard Lamothe and
Jon Burgmeier were insanely funny and their antics kept the audience in stitches. The supporting cast was funny and
moved the story along to the happy ending. “I am incredibly honored to have worked with this cast!" continued Gray, "I feel
like they have a magical quality and as a team  they worked their magic on the audience and me!”
