The Winter Arts Festival Gallery debuted with over 150 pieces of student work from the
Traditional and Electronic Art classes. Prep Arts students showcased techniques learned
throughout the fall semester. Traditional work included drawings, printmaking, and
3-dimensional work, while the Electronic work included digital photography and art created in
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

As a general rule, preptv does not post the last name of elementary students while identifying their participation in a school activity or promoting their accomplishment in Knowledge, Character,
and Leadership.  Likewise preptv does not include any reference to a student in a posted jpeg or mpeg image file name.  These precautions should eliminate parental concerns about a child being
identified as the result of an Internet search.  However, in the event that a parent is uncomfortable with a posted text or image, preptv will remove the text or image upon notification.

Winter Arts Festival
Choir Concert
The Prep’s choirs put on an amazing concert as they kicked off the Prep's Winter Arts Festival
with a bang. The Junior High, Concert and Premier Choirs performed holiday favorites while
the Falcon Singer's Show Choir ended the night with a spectacular swing Christmas number
that brought a huge applause from the standing room only audience.

Speech Vignettes
The Speech Team received a standing ovation at the conclusion of their inspiring Winter Arts
Festival performance. "It was spectacular," said the Speech Team's Head Coach Troy Ward,
"and the audience showed their appreciation for such moving presentations."

Guitar/Piano Recitals
Over 70 students performed at the Guitar and Piano Recital. "We had beginners to those that
have been playing for several years," said the Prep's Piano Lab instructor Debbie Hutson. "I
was very proud of each one of them." The highlight of the night was all 40 guitar students
playing Carol of the Bells."

Theatre Vignettes
The night of Vignette’s that the Theatre classes produced was a roaring success! The
audience got a kick out of the short scenes that the three theatre classes put together.

Band Concert
The Winter Arts Festival concluded with a Band Concert and Silent Auction in the Nest. The
finale featured the Jr. High Band, Beginning Band, Percussion Ensemble and High School
Band performed.
