The Winter Arts Festival concluded with a Band
Concert and Silent Auction in the Nest. The finale
featured the Jr. High Band, Beginning Band,
Percussion Ensemble and High School Band
performed.
The Nest was packed as all four groups gave stellar
performances. After only three months of rehearsals,
the beginning band played three cool Christmas
songs.
The Junior High band did amazing. The selection “And
to All a Good Night” featured the woodwind sections as
well as an oboe solo from seventh grader Chase
Croteau.
The Percussion class took over and wowed the
audience with “Deck Them Halls”. The senior drumline
members were then featured as they performed
“Yuletide Festival.”
The High School band finished off the night with three
great pieces. The first tune, “Many Sounds of
Christmas”, was a medley of fifteen familiar Christmas
tunes. It was followed by the crowd favorite,”Nightmare
Before Christmas”. The night was finished off with a
fast and furious arrangement of “Ukranian Bell Carol”.
