The Winter Arts Festival Gallery debuted with over 150
pieces of student work from their Traditional and
Electronic Art classes. Prep Arts students showcased
techniques learned throughout the fall semester.
Traditional work included drawings, printmaking, and
3-dimensional work, while the electronic work included
digital photography and art created in Adobe
Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Stand out submissions from Electronic Art Gallery
included a clever re-working of a traditional color wheel
by Sara DeNorch, Jacob Robles’ replication in
Photoshop of the famous Van Gogh painting ‘Starry
Night’, and Josh Burgmeier’s ‘Squeezy Face’ image
created in Adobe Illustrator.

In the Traditional Art Gallery, Stephanie Hortiales
created an intricate and colorful drawing using a
mixture of ink and colored pencil.  An interesting piece
from the 3D Art class was an altered book created by
Christina Vogt.  Kim See, James Dalpe, and Jennifer
Hall also showed us their skill and creativity with their
block prints created for Printmaking class.
