Game 1 at Tonopah
"Cassie Murphy and Brittani Jajdelski had some huge blocks to start us off," said Coach Leonardi. "Caitlin Ulman was a huge hitter with 4 kills in the
first game. Keely McDowell and Shyle Tippitt stepped up and did a great job digging in middle back. Taylor Little served really well too. We will only get
better and the determination is there!

Game 2 vs Arizona Lutheran Academy
The Prep's Varsity Volleyball defeated Arizona Lutheran Academy in three games to win the Falcons home opener Thursday night. "We had an
outstanding night in digs and blocks," said Coach Leonardi. "Brittani Jajdelski shut down their middle, Cassie Murphy was a huge outside hitter with
several kills and Jennifer Hall and Kristina Brathwaite had unbelievable 3 point passing. The best part of this match was the hard work and willingness
my girls had. They worked so hard for every single point and it paid off."

Game 3 vs Camp Verde
"We had another outstanding game and finished strong in three," said Coach Leonardi. "We learned some things and I know that the girls figured out
how to keep up the pace on our side! Jennifer Hall had great kills and Kristina and Caitlin dug out the ball all night. Caitlin also mixed it up and had
several aces. Taylor stepped up and had amazing setter attacks that hit the floor."

Game 4 vs Scottsdale Christian Academy
The Lady Falcons are ranked #2 in the State according to 2A power rankings after defeating #3 Scottsdale Christian 3-1. The Prep's Varsity Volleyball
team is undefeated at home and their only loss was the season opener at #7 Tonopah. "We're experiencing the rewards of 3 years of hard work and
dedication," said Coach Leonardi.

Game 5 at Arizona Lutheran Academy
The Lady Falcons took their 3-1 record and #2 power ranking to Arizona Lutheran Tuesday night for a rematch of an earlier game this season which
was won by the Prep 3-1. "We were put in some tough situations and were shorthanded for this game," said Coach Leonardi.

Game 6 at Valley Christian
North Pointe fell to the State's #1 ranked team, 3-0. "All the girls played well individually," said Coach Leonardi. "The girls played hard but were a little
intimidated going into this match. Caitlin had great serves and Taylor played aggressive with several digs for the night."

Game 7 at Horizon Honors
After an amazing start to the season and a #2 power ranking in the State, the Lady Falcons dropped their third match in a row. "We had some high
and low points," said Coach Leonardi. "The girls did a great job, but could not finish completely. Taylor had 7 digs for the night and Jennifer had 4
blocks. Kaitlin came out with an amazing 13 passes on serve receive."

Game 8 vs Estrella Foothills
After failing to finish the first game, the Lady Falcons took the second game in their match with 3A Estrella Foothills. Unfortunately, the third and fourth
games were a repeat of the first and the Prep fell 3-1. "This game kept us on our toes," said Coach Leonardi. "The girls were very scrappy picking up
several tips and hits. Brittany led the team with 5 blocks, and Cassie had 2 aces."

Game 9 vs Bourgade Catholic
The Lady Falcons were hit hard this week with half the Varsity team missing the Bourgade game due to illness. "I was pleasantly surprised as the girls
from Junior Varsity stepped up in this Varsity match," said Coach Leonaradi. "We played hard, and Kaitlin and Brittani led the team with 4 kills for the
night. Hannah Arliskas fearlessly blocked 4 hits for us. We are learning to adjust each game and play with heart."

Game 10 at Phoenix Christian
For the second game in a row, the lady Falcons were shorthanded in a five game match that went down to the last two points. "The girls did a great job
and fought hard," said Coach Leonardi. "Kaitlin had 8 aces, and Brittani had 4 blocks."

Game 11 at South Pointe
"This game was a challenge for us," said Coach Leonardi. "It was a completely different atmosphere and this was the first game back together again
after the flu wiped us out. The girls pulled out some great plays. Kaitlin passed very well for us and Brittani and Cassie had some aggressive serves."

Game 12 vs Northwest Christian
Although it was a fun match to watch, the Prep lost to Northwest. "Taylor Little had a great match, with aggressive jump serves and some amazing digs
to win points," said Coach Leonardi. "The girls were excited to play, but showed up at different times."

Game 13 at Sedona
"We started out slow and waited until the lat game to play hard," said Coach Leonardi. "Keely and Kaitlin led the team in digs."

Game 14 at Westwind
"This was a fun win for us," said Coach Leonardi. "Cassie had 10 digs and kaitlin had 6 and Brittany had 7. The girls stepped up and played as a
team."

Game 15 vs Tonopah
With determination and hard work, the Prep knocked off Tonopah 3-2. "Brittani led the team with a total of 8 aces," said Coach Leonardi, "Kristina had
17 amazing passes, and Jennifer had 3 huge blocks for us. The girls worked together and wanted to win."

Game 16 at Tempe Prep
"Brittani went down with a knee injury in the 3rd game, but we were able to recover in the 4th," said Coach Leonardi. "Brittani had an outstanding game
with 7 kills, and Cassie was right behind with 6.Taylor’s jump serve was powerful and earned her 3 aces. Overall it was a great confidence booster and
a fun win."

Game 18 vs Phoenix Country Day
Our game was a tough match. The girls fought hard and determined. We let loose a little after 2 wins in a row. We learned and we are looking forward
to playing them Tuesday. Taylor had great jump serves, and Kristina had an awesome game in the back row.

Game 19 at Phoenix Country Day
"Our game was amazing," said Coach Leonardi about the Lady Falcons 3-2 win over Phoenix Country Day. "The girls worked their tails off to come out
with a win in a 5 game match. Brittani had 8 kills, and Kaitlin served with aggressiveness all night, and Kristina and Cassie kept the opponent from
getting kills. I am very proud of them." The victory qualifies the Prep for the playoffs for the first time.

Playoffs Round One vs Pusch Ridge at San Carlos
"What a season," said Coach Leonardi. "I don’t have words for how proud I am of my nine hard working girls. They put everything out there this
season, and we accomplished things North Pointe has never accomplished before." The Lady Falcons advanced to the playoffs for the first time and
finished the regular season with more wins than previous seasons. "The season was not only a success because of our victories," continued Coach
Leonardi. "It molded these girls to become stronger for next year. The girls played an amazing playoff game and Kristina had the game of her career. It
was an intense match to watch. We were digging hard hit balls, getting aces, and blocking big. Kristina served 5 aces and Taylor had a great setting
game. Brittani and Cassie led the team in kills."
