As 6th graders and 8th graders begin thinking about attending Jr. High and High School next year, North
Pointe continues to be first choice for many. "December's Open Enrollment was huge," said Principal
Richard Gow. "We processed more enrollment packets last month than any previous year. We expect
this trend to continue through the Spring."
Interested families who missed the December Open Enrollment are still encouraged to submit completed
registration packets for all grades. "With the current economy, we have experienced an increase in
family relocations, providing additional openings to prospective students," explains Principal Gow. “By
October, we were able to place most of the students from the waiting list. Those families were very glad
they registered early and stayed on the waiting list.”
