As a general rule, preptv does not post the last name of elementary students while identifying their participation in a school activity or promoting their accomplishment in Knowledge, Character,
and Leadership.  Likewise preptv does not include any reference to a student in a posted jpeg or mpeg image file name.  These precautions should eliminate parental concerns about a child being
identified as the result of an Internet search.  However, in the event that a parent is uncomfortable with a posted text or image, preptv will remove the text or image upon notification.

North Pointe’s Community
Outreach Program, Prep Cares,
provides students, faculty, parents
and alumni the opportunity to care
for others by Shaping, Serving,
Sharing and Supporting,

The Prep is involved in many
projects throughout the year that
are designed to serve
America's
Veterans and their
families and honor them and
remember their sacrifice.

Parting
Working with Luke Air Force
Base's Family Readiness
Program, the Prep hosts free
events for families of deployed
men and women.

Protecting
In addition to the Prep's annual
Veterans Breakfast and Assembly
as well as participation in
Phoenix's Veterans Day Parade,
the Prep remembers the sacrifice
by assisting VFW' groups as well
as cleaning headstones at the
National Cemetery.

Progressing
Through a partnership with US
Vets, the Prep promotes
awareness of homeless Veterans
and the work that is being done to
assist Veterans back into society.
North Pointe honors America's
Veterans with parade float
The Prep was once again the biggest entry in America's fifth largest
Veterans Day Parade. The semi driven float and its entourage (Marching
Band, Flag Line, STUGO and Cheerline) spanned over 200 feet and was
viewed by hundreds of thousands throughout the parade route and on TV.
This year's float told the story of Veterans as they part from their families,
protect America and then progress back into the community.

Veterans enjoy
breakfast at Prep
Prior to the Veterans
Assembly, current and former
members of the US Armed
Forces enjoyed breakfast in
Theatre and then previewed
the Prep's Veterans Day
Parade Float. "It was a
touching moment when they
walked up to the float," said
Rachel Sunderland, Director
of Activities. "They all just
started clapping and some
were teary-eyed."

North Pointe honored
America's Veterans with a
special assembly in the Nest.
"I am amazed each year at
how passionately our students
embrace this day," said the
Prep's Principal, Richard Gow.
"They wear their red, white
and blue and show
tremendous respect and
appreciation at the assembly

have served."
