2015 - 2016
LINKED: North Pointe's Sixth Grade Camp
North Pointe's Sixth Grade Camp for students from Canyon Pointe and Pinnacle Pointe is led by Seniors who run the camp and the Stations. Juniors from the Prep serve as the counselors and ensure that each camper has an exciting time at camp. A crew from preptv spent the week at the camp and captured the memories. Click into the lives of the camp leaders and counselors as they engage in a Mission: Possible and seek to alter the universe of each camper.
This year's theme is Mission: Possible. Campers are being challenged to alter their universe by Discovering Their Assignment, Initiating Their Sequence, and Acquiring Their Reward. Stations are led by North Pointe's Seniors and feature Video Highlights, Mission Awards, Cabin Participation, and Inspirational Presentations.
Campers enjoy various activities including horseback riding, rock wall climbing, high ropes course, archery and canoeing.
Cabins compete against each other in challenges that are designed to reinforce the Station Inspirational Presentation.
Cabins battle it out in Cabin War Competitions.
It started out as fun around the campfire roasting hot dogs and eating s'mores and then became an exciting dance party.
North Pointe's Sixth Grade Camp is held at Friendly Pines Camp in Prescott for students from Canyon Pointe and Pinnacle Pointe. North Pointe Seniors lead the camp and North Pointe Juniors are the cabin counselors. The camp features Stations, Activities, Cabin Challenges, Cabin Wars, and Campfires.
