| North Pointe's Semester Exam Week features content review, test preparation, and final exams. Friday, May 21, 2010 - Semester Overview Class Time - Teachers will review information that students should know from the third and fourth quarters. Monday, May 24, 2010 - Semester Exam Content Review Class Time - Teachers will review information that will appear on the semester exam. Tuesday, May 25, 2010 - Semester Exam Format and Sample Questions Class Time - Teachers will explain the exam format and provide practice opportunities for all types of questions/problems that appear on the exam. For example, multiple choice, essay, fill in the blank, etc. Wednesday, May 26, 2010 - Semester Exams Periods 1, 2, 3, and 8 (Jr. High). High School will have Study Prep during the Jr. High 8th period. Half day release for all students at 12:00 pm. Thursday, May 27, 2010 - Semester Exams Periods 4/5, 6, 7 and then Classroom Awards Assemblies. Half day release for all students at 12:00 pm. Semester Exam Policies Semester Exams may not be taken early and must occur only on the scheduled times - Wednesday, May 26th and Thursday, May 27th. Final Exams are a maximum of 50 minutes each. Absent students, with pre-approval from Principal Gow, must take missed Final Exam(s) during the Summer Break. |
