Privacy Policy
As a general rule, preptv does not post the last name of elementary students while identifying their participation in a school activity or promoting their accomplishment in Knowledge, Character,
and Leadership.  Likewise preptv does not include any reference to a student in a posted jpeg or mpeg image file name.  These precautions should eliminate parental concerns about a child being
identified as the result of an Internet search.  However, in the event that a parent is uncomfortable with a posted text or image, preptv will remove the text or image upon notification.

North Pointe's Electronic Arts Opportunities
Electronic Arts is a broad area that covers all realms of
new media from graphic design, to television, to the web,
and beyond.

The Prep strives to offer as many elective choices as
possible that can ignite interest in skills that are
applicable at the next level, whether it be college or a
career.  New media subjects such as those offered in the
Prep’s Electronic Arts area fit that model well.

These courses provide skills that can immediately be
applied to the student’s lives, as they learn to build web
pages, design for publications, market products, edit
photos, create flash animations and produce videos.  In
addition to high-end applications, the Prep also provides
courses in basic computing, to help students achieve in
core classes, and to provide skills and training needed
for success in almost any field.

Beyond the classroom, the Prep also offers students

opportunities to try their hand at many of the skills obtained in our Electronic Arts classes.  Students can be
involved in designing many of the promotional materials used in conjunction with school events.  They may also
volunteer their time working with Prep TV, which involves many, if not all of the areas covered by our Electronic Arts
electives.  As their skills increase, students who have an interest can shoot and edit video productions, create and
update portions of the school website, take digital photos using the latest professional camera equipment, or
appear ‘on-air’ to help promote school programs and events.
