Math Foundations
Math Foundations provides students with a solid foundation of skills and concepts needed for success in analytic and
quantitative courses.  Concepts and skills will be emphasized through facts practice, mental math, problem solving,
daily lessons, daily practice, and cumulative tests.

Pre-Algebra
Pre-Algebra fortifies and builds upon the student’s foundation of math skills.  Students will be introduced to
rudimentary algebra topics such as the evaluation of algebraic expressions, the simplification of algebraic
expressions and the solution of linear equations.
Grade:  7-8

Prerequisite:  Math Foundations or placement test
   
Algebra I
Algebra I provides a foundation in the basic concepts and skills of Algebra.  Students will be introduced to Geometry
through the study of angles, polygons, circles and geometric proofs.

As a general rule, preptv does not post the last name of elementary students while identifying their participation in a school activity or promoting their accomplishment in Knowledge, Character,
and Leadership.  Likewise preptv does not include any reference to a student in a posted jpeg or mpeg image file name.  These precautions should eliminate parental concerns about a child being
identified as the result of an Internet search.  However, in the event that a parent is uncomfortable with a posted text or image, preptv will remove the text or image upon notification.
