North Pointe has launched its new character education program - Everything
Counts! this school year.
"As part of our "3 P's" we promise to provide students the opportunity to grow in
character," said Principal Richard Gow. "Character development is at the very core
of our campus culture. It's woven throughout our curriculum, encouraged through
our athletic, arts and activities and demonstrated through Prep Cares."
The Everything Counts! program was developed by the Pointe Schools'
administrators. "it wasn't about being unique or that we didn't want to use more
traditional programs," continued Principal Gow. "We just couldn't find something
that really fit us and something that we felt our students would embrace, not just for
now, but for the rest of their lives. So we created our own."

Students are challenged to become a person who is positive.
Impact Others
Students are challenged become a person who benefits others.
Avoid Detours
Students are challenged become a person who perseveres.
Build Forever
Students are challenged become a person who makes good decisions.
