North Pointe Tax Credit Projects
Over the past several years North Pointe has undertaken
substantial projects in an effort to provide our students with the
best academic, athletic, and arts opportunities possible.  This
has required the construction of facilities, the purchasing of
equipment, and the hiring of qualified faculty to develop and
lead various programs.  With the use of 2008 Arizona Tax Credit
donations, we hope to complete the final phases of our
three-year development plan.

As a general rule, preptv does not post the last name of elementary students while identifying their participation in a school activity or promoting their accomplishment in Knowledge, Character,
and Leadership.  Likewise preptv does not include any reference to a student in a posted jpeg or mpeg image file name.  These precautions should eliminate parental concerns about a child being
identified as the result of an Internet search.  However, in the event that a parent is uncomfortable with a posted text or image, preptv will remove the text or image upon notification.

academic programs. Two years ago we added 14 classrooms with the addition of the 700 and 1000 buildings.
These facilities were necessary to meet the anticipated growth of our campus. Now that we have met our current
classroom space requirements, we are focusing our attention on upgrading the technology opportunities in each
classroom so our students can take advantage of the latest teaching and learning developments.

Athletics
Tax Credit donations designated for the 'Current Athletic Project' will be used to complete the Prep's
practice baseball and softball field
(the dirt area on the North end of the campus). Not too long ago North
Pointe's athletic facilities were limited to a single large activity room that could double as a small gym for Jr. High
basketball and volleyball games. High School sports had to practice in parks and rented facilities.  Now, thanks to
hard work and determination, our athletes have practice facilities that rival our competition in the 2A Central (High
School) and Jr. Metro (Jr. High).  In 2005 we built a new gym for volleyball and basketball.  In 2006 we opened our
football practice facility (on the campus of Canyon Pointe). In 2007 we remodeled old gym and provided our
cheerleaders their own practice facility.  We also recently completed our batting cages and bullpen areas for
baseball and softball.  We've come a long way in such a short time.

Arts
Tax Credit donations designated for the 'Current Arts Project' will be used to purchase stage lighting
fixtures for the Theatre
. North Pointe has almost tripled its Arts Department Faculty over the past several years.
New staff and programs require additional facilities so over the past three years the Prep has also added the
Theatre, Band Room, Choir Room, Computer Lab, and Art Room.  Although we will continue to develop these
programs with the addition of equipment and resources, there is one part of our plan that is still not completed -
stage lighting in the Theatre.  Although we have run all of the necessary electrical lines and have the required
dimming capabilities, we have not purchased the actual lighting fixtures and have been renting them for the past year.
