North Pointe’s High School Falcon Players presented Peter and the Starcatcher and the entire cast and crew dazzled audiences with the clever design choices and witty performances. Audience members raved over Matthew Monaghan’s hilarious character, Black Stache, and Mackenzie Wojtyna, a gullible but lovable Smee. Ben Hester brought new life to Peter Pan, the boy who refused to grow up! Maya Ferrara’s spunky interpretation of Molly Aster was greatly complimented by the zest of everyone’s favorite lost boys played by Xander Billie and Adalila Machic-Huitzal.

North Pointe’s Offensive Front (Seniors Omar Carter, Michael Zipprich, Oscar Molinar, and Juniors Jay Brodeur, Tyler Knight, Matthew McGovern, and Connor Christensen) lead the way for the Falcon’s 525 rushing yards and a 52-14 win over Scottsdale Prep. Thanks to the Offensive Front, Senior Joe Soriano-Garfias is the #1 scoring player in Arizona and the Falcons are the #1 scoring team in the Nation (among teams with only 7 games). All three of North Pointe’s Offensive Backs are among the State’s Top 10 Scoring Leaders. Senior Nijel Rosado is #6 and Senior Davis Vargas is #9.
